John J. Hastings named web and graphic designer at Covey-Odell Advertising Ltd.

NORTH CANTON, OH—John J. Hastings has joined the advertising and public relations agency Covey-Odell Advertising, Ltd. as a Web and graphic designer.
Hastings is a 20-year veteran of the marketing/advertising business, including eight years as a senior visual communications designer with Diebold, Inc. He also served as a graphic designer with Rockwell Automation and several other area companies.
Hastings is a graduate of The University of Akron, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Graphic Design and an Associate Degree of Commercial Art.

At Covey-Odell Advertising, Hasting’s responsibilities include Web design and development, print and display graphic design, multi-media flash presentations, email graphics, client contact and new business development.

Hastings and his wife Joy reside in Plain Township with their two children. He is a hot rod and motorcycle enthusiast. Hastings is a member of The Chapel of North Canton, where he is involved in assisting with children’s ministries and adult studies programs.
