Covey-Odell named Business of the Year

NORTH CANTON, OH—The North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce has named Covey-Odell Advertising 2009 Business of the Year, one of three recipients.

The annual award is presented to a company that:

• Has demonstrated throughout the year the qualities and successful business criteria that make for a prosperous and growing organization;
• Demonstrates a commitment to the North Canton area through growth/expansion, strives to maintain employee stability and demonstrates an overall emphasis on community involvement;
• Has a professional work environment for employees and excels in the area of customer satisfaction.

Covey-Odell shared the award with Walsh University and Acme Fresh Market.

Based in North Canton, Covey-Odell Advertising is a full-service advertising and public relations agency. The company serves a growing list of local, regional and national clients with marketing, copywriting, graphic design and Web services.

Covey-Odell was launched in 2008 with the merger of two well-known and respected advertising agencies: Odell Advertising/Marketing, Inc. and Covey & Koons, Ltd.

Odell was founded in 1944 in Mansfield and moved to North Canton in 1972; Covey & Koons was founded in 1967 in Canton and moved to North Canton in 2005.
